I’m all caught up with Game of Thrones (and 100 pages away from finishing the 1st book in the series), and while that is the best show right now (as well as the best & most rewarding show HBO has done since the Wire went off the air), Breaking Bad has been the closest show that rivals the Wire and surpasses it in other ways (setting, cinematography, & viewer experience via HD-TV’s). They both deal with the drug game, but in some very different ways.
